Description:

Hawk Pond is a 6 acre pond that was formed when the 'arm' across the main lake was extended. This provides for full vehicular access around the venue and parking next to the pegs thereby eliminating the need to carry tackle long distances.

This pond can accommodate up to 30 anglers on pegs that, as far as possible, are wheelchair accessible. The venue's main stock of fish consist of tench, bream and carp, plus some roach, rudd, perch, pike and eels. Stockings of tench, bream and small carp have taken place every year since 2009, including over 1600 small Carp to 1lb stocked in October 2012. However, there is some evidence that during the Humber flooding in December 2013 some of the small bream, tench and carp were washed into other fisheries on the complex. All the Brough fisheries are protected with an otter venue.
