Dannies Island Lake has 79 pegs and again contains a wide range of fish species, but is well known for the large ghost, common and mirror carp, which can be caught in huge numbers whilst fishing shallow in the summer months.

As one of South Yorkshire's premier commercial fisheries, Hayfield Lakes offers top quality fishing for both pleasure and match anglers. Located just off the M18 near Doncaster, the fishery is well known nationally having hosted the televised Fish O' Mania final for many years.

Fishery's own feed pellets on sale in the bait cabin

Barbless hooks only (no nipped or micro barbed)

Largest allowed hook is size 10 (no long shank or wide gape)

Inline method feeders only

NO Braid - including hook lengths

NO fixed rigs

Keepnets only allowed in matches - 80lb net limit

NO landing net equals NO fishing!

The following baits are banned: No surface or artificial baits, trout pellet, cat and dog meat

Boilies allowed as hookbaits only

No spodding

Day Ticket price allows one rod, additional rod subject to a £2 charge.

No Night fishing

No opened cans or glass on the bank please

NO LITTER Please take all litter home. Anyone caught leaving litter on their pegs will be banned.
