Description:

Loversall Lakes are coarse fishing lakes on the A60 at Loversall, near Doncaster, South Yorkshire. There are two lakes of approximately 2 acres each which are well stocked with over 15,000 fish as of April 2009.

The lakes are filled with fresh water from St Catherines Well Stream - a fresh water spring less than 400 metres away.

The lakes have been beautifully landscaped. They are now on their way to being well established. The lakes are open to the public for pleasure fishing. Gates open at 7 am daily.

Only Loversall Lakes Fishery feed pellets to be used

No fish to be removed from the fishery or killed

No fish to be handled in towels or rags

Ground bait only through feeder or pole pot

No night fishing (there are guard dogs loose at night

No keep nets (other than in matches)

No dogs

No litter / fires / hook lengths left on the bank

No boilies

No glass on the bank

No open cans on bank, e.g. sweetcorn, luncheon meat etc

No surface fishing

Cars to be parked in allocated car parks only

Persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
