Some were caught on Method feeder on a hair-rig using luncheon meat, and some were caught float fishing with sweetcorn.

Caugh on DNA baits, using a simple hair rig with a 18mm dumbbell, on half a pop on to give it that bit of buoyancy to float it over the weed.

Here is a picture of Andy Holliday holding the 42lb Mirror Carp caught at Etang Marolles, France.
He caught it legering with a 15lb Hook link and a Jelly Wire Blow back rig and 18lb main line Ultima XR, using CC Moores Live System topped with a Flouro White Coconut Pop up.
He also said the fish was in excellent condition, and it put up a good scrap instead of plodding in like a fair few of his big fish.
