Here is a picture of Mark T Masicampo with friends on the long range Rockcod fishing trip with Patriot Sport fishing (Avila Beach) California USA.
We went from 6am to 2pm, from Avila Beach. We traveled for 2hours south to Point Sal, In 60ft to 100ft of water. Mark caught most of his fish on a 6 oz. Leadhead jig, with a brown 9" swimbait.
On this day the rockfish were kind of shy, but we caught many "Lingcod" and some quality "Cabezon" too.
