Description: Acorn fishery is a family run business situated in the peaceful countryside of north Somerset just of junction 20 on the M5. The fishery boasts angling opportunities for all ages and capabilities with access for disabled anglers on all lakes as well.

Please note:

All pre bookings for fishing must be paid in full by debit or credit cards. (no refunds will be given).Any date transfers must have a minimum of 1 weeks notice if pre-paid, otherwise your booking will be cancelled. This is due to a high demand for fishing pegs.

A minimum of a 24 hours session is required for any weekend fishing.

Any day tickets which maybe required on the main lake cannot be pre-booked, these are on a first come first serve basis. Anybody requiring a day ticket on the main lake must report to the office before commencing fishing.

Please note twin size hut's as above are on pegs 1/3/5/7/9/10/12 and15 with elecetric on/off light only. Food deliveries to be collected from the main gates The gates will not be opened after closing time.

Please note that we cannot charge any phone's or other equipement as we cannot take responsibility for customers equipment.

The gate opening times:

Open summer time 7am - close 8pm prompt ( april - sept)

Open winter time 7am - close 7pm prompt ( oct - march)

Please note the gates can be opened for strictly emergenies only, otherwise a fee of £25 will be charged.

Weather conditions:-please note if you have pre-booked and paid we do not give any refunds but we do offer to re-book a date at your convenience this only applies due to adverse weather conditions. If you have to cancel pre-booked fishing for any other reason than above we do require 1 weeks notice to pre-book another date.

There are currently 8 huts available on pegs... 1/3/5/7/9//10/12 and 15 Booking swims is advisable especially on weekends...

Please note peg times in the summer (april - sept) - run from 7am to 7pm and winter (oct - march) - peg times run from 7.00am to 6pm. These are the swap over times for booked swims. If you arrive prior to these times there will be a further charge.

Match lakes Please note that we have the tuesday tenners open match's running throughout the year - all welcome - £12 - 8.45am draw on the paddock lake

Facilities:

The comprehensive facilities on the complex also make your stay a lot more enjoyable - with clean flushing toilets, hot and cold water, warm showers, as well as an on-site cafe/tackle shop, which is open six days a week (Tuesday to Sunday), serving a traditional full English breakfast from 7am, and a wide range of other hot meals.

There are three lakes on the complex made-up of two match/pleasure lakes that regularly produce winning bags of over 200lb and a specimen carp water.
