Description: Bagwood lake at woodlands is roughly 4 acres in size and is stocked with approximately 250 carp,which can be up to 35lbs in weight. Please ensure you purchase a ticket before setting up to fish. The Bailiff will be checking tickets anyone fishing without a valid day ticket will be prosecuted.

Rules:

Tickets can be purchased from the pro shop.

Bagwood lake tarriffs and rules of fishing:

Day fishing and 24 hour fishing

Adult day fishing prices:

12 hour maximum daytime ticket £16.00 7am until 7pm

Junior day fishing prices: (must be accompanied by an adult)12hour maximum daytime ticket £13.00 7am until 7pm

Night tickets are from 19:00hrs until 07:00hrs £16.00

Adult 24 hour fishing prices:

24 hour ticket £24.00 24 hr tickets are from time of purchase.

Guests staying overnight must purchase a 12 hr ticket £16.00 regardless if they are fishing or not.

Tickets to be purchased before setting up of equipment or starting to fish

Junior 24 hour fishing prices:

must be accompanied by an adult 24 hour ticket £20.00

Day time ticket: this entitles the ticket holder up to a maximum of 12 hours fishing between the hours of 7 am until 7 pm. All daytime fishers must leave the lake by 7 pm.

It is your duty to be aware of the rules with particular reference to safety and your personal insurance on the entire premises of woodlands golf and country club and bagwood lake.

All carp Anglers must use unhooking Mats at all times. Beanie type unhooking Mat of 36" or a large cradle.

No fixed lead or death rigs.

Bait boats are permitted.

Micro barb and barbless hooks only to be used. No trebles.

No swimming

No boats

All nuts are banned.

No braided mainline except for spod and marker rods.

No rods to be left unattended.

No carp to be sacked for more than 1 hour in daylight hours.

Minimum of 10lb line for carp fishing.

Pegs to be left clean and tidy, rubbish to be placed in bins provided.

No dogs allowed.

No tents allowed,

Fishing bivvies and shelters in green or camo only.

Radio's are permitted if kept to a reasonable volume.

No disposable barbecues allowed.

Woodlands golf and country club does not accept liability for injury to any person fishing, visitors or guests or damage to their property. The individual is responsible for their own safety and the safety of others whilst on the fishing lakes and the premises.
