Description: A delightful heavily tree lined backwater which divides our fishery into two halves. The creek runs off the main river down the weir and rejoins it half a mile futher in a northerly diretion. Old fashioned centre pin reels and stick float fishing, just like Mr Crabtree, loads and loads of little fish and all species you would expect from flowing water. Large perch can be taken on legered lob worm, particularly at the weir end of the creek. Big fish seekers target the chub which run to 6lb, these live under the overhanging trees and branches, look for the snaggier features, carp to 25lb also in residence and if they do take just hook and try to hold! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
