Rules: Day tickets are available on the bank Atkins Water is included in the WAC Club card for the year April 1st to March 31st. Non-Members may purchase a Day Ticket on the bank for £7 or concessions £5. READ THIS NOTICE BEFORE COMMENCING TO FISH. Rules for Magpie and Adkins Lakes Children under 12 don't need a licence. Anglers between 12 and 16 years of age must have a valid EA rod license before starting to fish. These licences are free and can be obtained by calling the Environment Agency (EA) on 0344 800 5386 between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday Anglers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an able bodied adult at all times. Everyone fishing must have a landing net and unhooking mat. Only 1 adult angler per swim Please use the swims provided. All landing nets and mats to be dipped prior to fishing. No Keep nets. Barbless hooks only, Maximum size 12. Only one rod/pole per person fishing. Do not leave rod/poles unattended. Fishing Sunrise to sunset. No braided lines of any description. No tins on the bank. No littering (take all litter home). No meat baits of any sort. No Beans or Nuts. No floating baits. Dogs are NOT allowed anywhere on site except for Guide/Assistance dogs. Do not feed or harm any wildlife on these sites Do not cut or damage any plants or vegetation Atkins anglers: DO NOT USE the landing net heads or unhooking mats provided for Magpie Lake. Additional rules applying to Magpie Lake ONLY Anglers must use the landing net heads and unhooking mats provided. These nets and unhooking mats must NOT be used on any other of our WATERS or removed from this site. THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME Waterbeach Angling Club 121B Waterbeach Road, Landbeach CB25 9FA WAC Members or Atkins Water ticket holders may not visit Leland Water or Magpie Lake. Club Cards and Day tickets [not Leland Water] are available from Rosemary's Newsagents in Waterbeach Village Litter: Litter and nylon line is both unsightly, dangerous to wildlife and can cause the loss of a fishery. All discarded line, tackle, bottles and other litter MUST BE REMOVED from swims by Club Members whether dropped by the member or not. No tins to be brought to any Club Water. Any Member found leaving litter in their swim will be required to explain their actions to the Committee and may have their Membership withdrawn.
