SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES TO BE OBSERVED WHEN VISITING THE FISHERY.

You must travel to the fishery seperately unless you are from the same household or are in a household bubble On arrival at the fishery you must choose your peg and stay on the same peg for the duration of your stay.

I will come to you at the peg to collect payment and bring pellets to buy. Please have the correct payment if possible.

If you prefer to not pay cash you can make a bank transfer, this can be done by calling me and I will give you our bank details 07842 089760

No sharing fishing tackle:

Only 1 person to a peg unless you are from the same household.

Rod hire and tuition is currently unavailable.

SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES MUST BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES, ANYONE NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE :

Our standard fishery rules still apply and must be followed at all times:

Gates are open from 8.00am and close at dusk.

The gates will be kept OPEN all day, do not close them.

No under 15's unless accompanied by an adult from the same household.

No Stink bags inside the fishery gates.

Fishing on Heron Lake and Fir Tree Pond is only allowed on the designated pegs.

Barbless hooks only.

No meat based baits of any description.

No surface fishing allowed.

Each angler must have their own landing net.

No keep nets.

No sea fishing tackle.

No carp sacks allowed on site.

All fish to be returned as quickly and carefully as possible.

No baited rods to be left in the water unattended.

No litter to be found in swims. Use the bin provided or take your litter home.

Only pellets purchased at the fishery can be used as loose feed. You can use your own pellets as hook bait only.

No particle baits except cooked tinned hemp.

We do allow well behaved dogs. They must be kept on a lead, and you must clean up after them.

No radios.

No alcohol.

No night fishing.

An environment agency rod licence is required to fish Anyone found breaking these rules may be asked to leave the fishery with no refund.

Respect other fisherman, and your surroundings and enjoy your day fishing.

Facilities:

We sell tinned sweetcorn and coarse fish pellets. If you wish to use pellets as a loose feed we only allow our own, however you can use a pellet of your choice as a hook bait. There are two good tackle shops in the Penzance area. West Cornwall Angling on Alexanrdra Road and Newtown Angling just past Roseudgeon on the road to Helston. Both have a large selection of coarse fishing baits and tackle.

Parking:

There is ample parking with close, flat and easy access to the lakes.

Refreshments:

REFRESHMENTS ARE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE Tea, coffee and hot chocolate brought to you at the bankside in returnable insulated mugs.

Toilet:

There is a flushing toilet and hand basin sited in the car park close to the ponds.
