Description: This peaceful 7 acre fishery is placed close to St Ives and Penzance. It has mirror and common carp to 34lbs with a handful of fish over 30lb and really good head of back up 20lb fish. Bussow was re-stocked in 2007 with 50 carp weighing 4-5lb which are now heading towards 20lbs. It has been re-stocked in 2011 with 22 carp averaging 14lb with the largest just over 20lb. Bussow also received 19 carp up to 23lbs from Boscathnoe reservoir which was closed during 2015. The majority of the fish from Boscathnoe were between fifteen and 20lbs. Mixed bags of up to 50lb can be expected made up of rudd to 1½lb, roach to 2lbs and bream up to 7lbs. Pole, waggler and feeder fishing can produce really good mixed sport for the pleasure angler. Bussow is the only lake in our portfolio where you can drive round and park behind your swim.
