Description: In the summer of 1987, Brian and Sandra leant over the double wooden gates to view the 27 acre neglected famland, just outside of Summercourt near Newquay. Their vision was to create a coarse fishery, nestled into the gentle rolling hills, surrounded by woodlands and with natural wildlife habitats for both fauna and flora. Sandra named the fishery Oakside, as all the way down the boundary were mature oaks standing proud above all else. Sandra then went to town on the design of the now established Oakside Fishery logo and this is still in use to this day. Almost twenty five years on, their vision has come to fruition with a now mature, well stocked coarse fishing lake set in a stunning location.
