Castlehead Fishery rules:
Permit holders agree to read and comply with the fishery rules as printed below and/or displayed on the fishery notice boards and to comply with the Environment Agency Fishery Bylaws. Failure to do so renders the permit invalid. You must carry this permit with you while fishing.
Day tickets are available for a number of trout and coarse waters. Tickets can either be purchased online or from a number of agents in South Cumbria (listed below). Two junior under 16 may fish for free with an adult day ticket holder. (If you have more juniors present, you will need to buy a second ticket). There has been a review of day ticket pricing, any changes are reflected on the relevant application form below. Please note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges for alternative dates, once a day ticket has been purchased.

There are wheelchair, easy access platforms and wheelchair access for visitors on this fishery, these have been built in line with the requirements of the BDAA.
On top of this sticking, there is now a fully working toilet on-site, making this the perfect venue for the less able or people who like a few home comforts while fishing. For full details of this please read this report written by Nick Butterfield: Castlehead Toilet Completion.
