Description: Lonsdale Park

Lonsdale Park offer memorable fishing holidays with luxury accommodation.

We have endeavoured to recreate the golden days of angling. As our guest you will have the opportunity to fish on five private lakes in over 40 acres of unspoiled country estate.

Our lakes are home to many different species and each lake has its own unique character, making us a great all round coarse fishing venue. The flat nature of the grounds, combined with our excellent paths makes access easy for all.

Facilities:

The Road is highlighted in yellow, and it goes under the railway by bridge at both roads in and out.

Car Parking: Hiking in the lake district or walked off your feet shopping in Carlisle? Either way you'll be happy to know that ample car parking is right outside your accommodation door, so no distance to walk on tired legs or to carry those heavy gifts.

Disabled / Wheelchair? Not a problem we are a level site and around 90% of our pegs are wheelchair accessible. Three of our lake side cottages were specially designed to be wheelchair and disabled friendly. We have pneumatic trolleys for your equipment, all this helps you concentrate on fishing without worrying about getting around. We have a few regular disabled anglers who have been visiting us for years.

Fishing Shop.

Residents have exclusive fishing access (April to October) to all of our five lakes which is included in the price. We don't charge extra per rod - just one simple and very affordable price. A limited number of day fisherman are permitted November to March. Our aim is to ensure our lakes are never crowded, some days you may even have one all to yourself!
