Rules:: We try to keep rules to a minimum but in order to ensure the fisheries can be enjoyed by everyone, we do insist on the following: A valid permit must be purchased. Fishing is open from 6.15am and closes 9.30pm. An Environment Agency Rod Licence is required. (Rods must not be shared.) Min 6lb leader / single fly only. The water is deep and wading is strictly prohibited. Lures are prohibited. All brown trout must be returned to the water. Catch return forms must be completed and returned to Hargate Fisheries. Other than disabled badge holders, all cars must be parked on the main car park. We ask all our visitors to respect the environment and dispose of all litter, waste and fishing lines responsibly.
