Description: The fishery consists of three lakes: a well stocked 5.5 acre Trout Lake, 3.5 acre Carp Lake, and 3.5 acre mixed fish Coarse Lake.

We offer competitively priced day tickets on all three lakes with the Carp and Coarse Lakes offering season tickets.

Carp Lake Rules::

Persons accessing Press Manor Fishing Lakes, do so at their own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any accident and or injury to person's vehicles or possessions, whilst on the premises. It is the person's responsibility to ensure they are protected and are aware of the dangers associated with fishing, before entering the site.

Night Sessions must always be booked in advance, by phoning Bernie 07976 306073.

Day Sessions 8am until 8pm or dusk (whichever is earlier), must be booked in advance when fishing weekends.

Note individual pegs can't be reserved in advance (neither through booking or by another angler).

If you wish to view the Carp Lake, please phone or e-mail me to arrange a suitable time, don't access the lake without permission.

Litter - It is the responsibility of any angler (and their non-fishing partner if applicable), to ensure that their peg and surrounding area is kept free of litter. Take alllitter home and do not leave it at Press Manor. If there is litter on your peg upon arrival, please phone me immediately.

As a courtesy to all other anglers, no radios, open fires, disposable BBQs, swimming, or heavy drinking. The highest standard of behaviour is expected from all. As voices carry across water, from dusk or 9.45 pm (whichever is earlier)noise must completely stop.

Maximum speed for vehicles is 5mph.

Once 'set up', no further vehicle movements. For security purposes: no driving or walking up to the Trout Lake entrance for 'Takeaways or Re Supplies', and no having them brought to you. An adult over 20 years of age must accompany under 18's.

Do not invite people down whilst you are fishing. If they turn up it's your responsibility to send them away immediately.

No Tents,only Fishing 'Bivvies' permitted. For Bio Security - all landing nets and un-hooking mats must be bone dry before fishing. Please leave toilets clean.

No floating bread on hooks.

A third rod maybe used for an additional cost of £2.00 per day or per session provided the third rod is used with discretion. Do not leave rods un-attended.

For security reasons night fisherman's vehicles will be locked in, until Trout Lake opening time in the morning.

Carp are not to be lifted above knee height at any time. When photographing, do not leave the carp on it's side looking into the sun, and use Carp Care!

All fish to be carefully returned (alive) to the Carp Lake within 3 minutes. If you would like a picture, ensure your camera is ready beforehand. You must not bring Keep Nets or Sacks to Press Manor.

Bait Bans: no nuts, beans of any kind, or plastic baits on rigs.

Zig Rigs are not to be used.

Manufactured Barbless hooks only. (No Micro Barbs or Flattened Barbs permitted).

No lead core, braided main line, fixed leads, or snag leaders.

Coated Braid Hook Lengths are permitted.

Use 32inch plus landing nets, cradles or large unhooking mats; minimum thickness 40mm.

No angler's baited rod must be unattended.

Bait boats are permitted provided they don't interfere with other anglers fishing - i.e. use boats sensibly.

If an angler arrives opposite you, it's your responsibility to reel in your rigs, no further than half way across the lake.

No guests - however partners may accompany you and stay whilst you're fishing - a charge of £5.00 for 24 to 48 hours and £2.50 per day session.

Random rig checks - please do not be offended if asked.

Remember these rules only exist to ensure the welfare of the Carp, and the consistency of your sport. If a method of fishing may cause damage to the Carp then please don't use that method of fishing.Please report anyone in breach of these rules.
