Description: Two Ponds situated in Shardlow, and accessed via a private lane to a Pride of Derby locked car park The larger of the two ponds approximately 3 acres has a depth of 5-6 feet and has established fishing positions all the way around approx. 25 pegs. The pond contains a large quantity of Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Pike. The Tench have been caught up to 8lbs and Bream to 7lb, Pike have been caught into the low 20lb range.
The Smaller of the ponds is approximately half of an acre and is a typical natural field pond, the main species to be caught is Tench, with a small quantity of carp, the other species to be caught are Roach, Rudd and Perch.
The fishing in this area is very safe but the access is not suitable for disabled or infirm anglers
