Description: The lake is open in 2019 from 1st May to 26th October from 9.00 a.m. Closing time moves with available light May, September and October 6.00pm and during summer May to August early evening fishing is possible allowing a closing time of 7.00pm. The main gates of the estate close promptly at 7.30pm. The number of rods are strictly limited to six and therefore booking is essential. Booking is arranged by telephoning the gunroom on 01335 330247. The bag limit is three fish, which are your first three fish caught. Thereafter catch an release on barbless hooks a further five fish. Extra fish may be purchased.

Facilities: The banks are close mown grass with ample benches. There is also a small fishing lodge where you are welcome to rest. Toilets are available at the main lodge less than one hundred metres from the lake.
