This exclusive 3 acre water, is the most challenging of our fishing lakes, with carp to 36 lb - 5 oz's.

If you are a serious Carp angler or someone seeking their first 20 lb or 30 lb

then this is the Lake for you.

1 in every 3 Carp weigh over 20 lbs.

Specimen Carp Lake Rules:

If there is anything that you do not understand, please ask!

Any infringement of these Rules may result in you being asked to leave the Fishery.

No refund will be given.

We are a family friendly Fishery, foul language or bad behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.

Strictly no entry to the Fishery before 7.00 am.

Pre-booking is essential for all sessions on this Lake and must be paid for in full at time of booking.

Anglers must not enter the Lake to fish if they have not prepaid for their permit first.

Day permit Anglers should have left before dusk.

Please note that we do not sell night only permits.

Strictly No under 16's are allowed on this Lake.

BEFORE FISHING - ALL NETS, MATS, CRADLES, ETC. MUST BE TOTALLY DRY

Direct sunlight is the best way to dry your equipment and help prevent disease.

Due to the size of our specimen carp.

All Anglers must have and use a minimum 36" landing net and a large well padded unhooking mat.

All fish must be returned quickly and carefully. Photo's of fish must only be taken kneeling down.

The Specimen Carp Lake is rod and line only. A maximum of 3 Rods per Angler at all times.

RODS IN USE MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME.

No braided mainline. No sacking of fish.

BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY - MAXIMUM SIZE 6 HOOK!

Please don't be offended if we ask to check your tackle, it is for the welfare of our fish.

We do check! Remember your disgorger!

All bivvies must be on, or touching the constructed gravel or woodchipped peg.

Please do not block access routes past them.

All of your Rods must be on the same Peg as your bivvy.

All Anglers are expected to fish within their own designated peg zone as shown on the Lake Plan.

If the next peg zone is empty you may cast 1 Rod only, from your own peg into the next zone,

BUT, THIS ROD MUST BE REMOVED BY 7AM OR IF SOMEONE ELSE WISHES TO FISH THAT PEG.

All leads and feeders must be either free running

or be attached using an appropriate loose fitted safety clip.

A minimum hook length of 4 inches to be used.

FLOATING BAITS CAN ONLY BE USED IF FREELINED ie. No bubble floats or controllers of any kind.

Under no circumstances are Anglers permitted onto the far bank or past the fence at Peg 10

as these areas are Strictly Private. Anyone found doing so will be banned.

Strictly no going under the fence to feed fish between peg 7 and 8.

Peg 8 must be reserved.

It is a bait boat only swim with Strictly No Casting allowed, due to overhead power lines.

No artificial/fake baits larger than a single grain of sweetcorn. All nuts must be suitably prepared.

All Anglers are expected to have and use fish antiseptic Klinik, Medic+ or similar. It is available in our shop.

Bait boats are allowed on this Lake.

Quiet, well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after them.

Barbeques and cooking stoves must only be used on the pegs stone chippings and not on the grass.

Please don't pour boiling water onto the grass as it kills it.

No litter. Please use a bin or take your rubbish home.

Please treat the Fishery, it's wildlife and other Anglers with respect
