Description: Willow Lake

Carp average 2/3lb up to 4/5lb plus a few silvers too mainly carp dominated in this lake.

Prices:

Willow lake is now open.The lake consists of 20 pegs all fishing from an island with access to the lake via a bridge. The car park for willow lake has now been extended for easy parking. Fishing times are from 8am-7pm from 1st April - 1st October . Winter fishing times are from 9am-5pm from 1st October - 1st November. Adults £10 u16's £8 Arrival time is 8am -7pm. NO Keep nets on any lake while pleasure fishing unless you are fishing a match. From 1st October - 1st November the shop opening times are 9am-3pm All pleasure lakes will be closed for day tickets from 1st November 2021 - 1st April 2022

Species:

From spring 2019 this lake will consist of Carp,Bream,and Skimmmers. The carp go to 4lb average 2/3lb. Bream and skimmers also live here.

Lake and Fishing Rules:

Beatties Specimen Lake swims need to be reserved to avoid disappointment. 12hr day or over night sessions available.

No particles allowed from 1st September 2021 until further notice only boilies and pellets are allowed.

Carp mats (thick padded) or a cradle are necessary on Beatties and Lodge Lake.

Anyone fishing on the specimen lakes must be in possesion of Carp Care spray for wounds and abrasions.

This is also for sale in our on site shop.

No sacking on Beatties or Lodge Lake at any time.

NO KEEP NETS allowed when pleasure fishing only permitted in a match.

No stink bags for keep nets are permitted on site again only for an organised match.

On ALL pleasure lakes no larger than a size 12 hook is to be used.

On both specimen lakes ( Beatties or Lodge lake) no larger than a size 4 hook to be used.

If using a bait boat on lodge or Beatties lake you must have an extra line attached, if your boat has to be retrieved by ourselves there is a £10 charge for this service.

Only Green/camouflage Bivvy's are allowed on our specimen lakes.

When taking any photos of fish here you must be low to the ground please do not take any photos while you are standing up.

Children under the age of 15 are not permitted on the specimen lakes unless they are fishing with an adult which must be cleared with Jo first.

Any specimen angler wishing to bring along guests must book these guests in with Jo and pay the asking fee of £2.50 per day/£5 overnight charge per guest.

No Lead core /no braided mainline allowed/no chain link leaders.

When using a spomb you must attach a spomb float.

When fishing a float must be attached to the line (no overshotting).

Maximum of 8 pints of pellets to be used in any one day.

BARBLESS hooks only.

No dead baits, only maggots or worms are allowed as live baits.

Minimum 42" landing net for Beatties and Lodge lake.

No lures or spinners or treble hooks to be used.

Pike fishing only permitted from 1st November - 1st March ONLY.

Keep nets may be curtailed in warm weather.

55 lbs maximum in a carp keep net, 30 lbs maximum in a silvers keep net.

Do not mix silver fish with carp in your nets they must be kept in separate keep nets.

A maximum of 3 rods on the specimen lake and 2 on pleasure lakes.

No peanuts or Tiger nuts.

No Cat meat.

No live Bait.

No Elite/Halibut/High oil pellets allowed.

Only 2 tins of any meat (250g size) to be used in any one day minimum cube size 6mm only.

No loud music to be played on site at any time only radios on low permitted please be considerate to other anglers.

You must dip your keep nets, landing nets, unhooking mats, stink bags in the allocated bins at the site entrance before you fish for a minimum of 15 minutes, this motion is monitored at all times by cctv cameras.

Please help to protect our fish. (Please see notice board for start date).

Please be aware of ALL rules, if any rules are not abide with you will be asked to leave the fishery.

Please stretch out your keep nets 10 minutes before your nets enter the lake to allow the uv rays to kill any germs and or bacteria.

All litter is to be placed in bins provided around the fishery failure to do so you would be asked to leave the fishery as we are passionate about keeping our fishery clean and tidy.

Fishing from marked pegs only.

We do not allow sharing of ANY equipment please make sure you bring your own , this applies to every lake you fish on.

We do not allow any reserving of pegs here at all, if you go to a peg you must fish that peg.

No gardening! If any plants/trees are causing you a problem please notify either Paul or Jo. Please do not attempt to cut/prune/damage the plants and or trees.
