| Description: The Lake and Fishing:
For the duration of your stay you'll share exclusive access to a large natural fishing lake scarcely fifty yards from Sunridge Lodge. Characteristically golden in colour (due to the complex mineral profile of the surrounding terrain) the lake is a truly enchanting place, the richly shimmering gold of its surface taking its hues from the ever-shifting light. As well as a luminous visual treat the lake is teeming with Carp (Mirror and Common varieties predominate) and makes for excellent coarse fishing. Originally stocked over thirty years ago the lake has remained naturally self-populating ever since. The record size caught to date stands at over 20Lb's! The fishing lake is shared exclusively between our Sunridge Treehouse, Geodome and Lodge guests, so please secure a spot early if you are keen. So, whether angling for Carp or standing on the shore gazing at its beguiling surfaces, Sunridge lake is simply the perfect place to relax. |
