Description: Run by the Newton Abbot Fishing Association, Wapperwell Pond is a pretty little lake on the edge of the A380 dual carriageway. There are lots of good sized skimmers here, plus a few F1 carp and tench. Fishing the pole is the best option. Pellets or sweetcorn, fished as far out as comfortable, are the top hookbaits and feed. Also plenty of smaller silver fish to maggots. SatNav users should enter the Postcode: TQ13 0AD.
