Welcome to the Falkenvil Fishery Website.

Falkenvil Fishery is situated in the heart of East Sussex between the towns of Hailsham and Eastbourne.

The fishery is one of the largest coarse fisheries in the county and consists of five heavily stocked lakes which provide superb fishing for novice fishermen, more experienced anglers, specimen hunters and match anglers.

Falkenvil Fishery is a day ticket venue open to everyone.

Rules:

The fishery is open from dawn to dusk

Strictly no night fishing

Cars must be parked in the car park

No fishing without an Environment Agency Rod Licence

Barbless hooks only

Landing nets must be used at all times

Unhooking mats must be used at all times

No keepnets (except in prebooked matches)

No nuts of any kind

No boilies

No excessive use of ground bait

No fixed rigs

No fish to be kept in sacks

No fish to be removed from the fishery

Rods not to be left unattended

No running about on the banks

No shouting or excessive noise

All litter to be placed in the bins provided

Under 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult unless authorised by the fishery management

No dogs

No fires

No trespassing in farm buildings

Match fishing by prior arrangement only

Please note that the Main Lake and the Specimen Lake are closed during the Close Season

Additional Rules for the Specimen Lake:

All swims must be booked in advance (see Contact Us page)

Minimum 12lb breaking strain main line

42" Specimen landing net must be used

Large unhooking mats must be used

Boilies are permitted on the Specimen Lake

No nuts of any kind

No under 16 year olds allowed on the Specimen Lake

Anglers should note that all specimen fish have been micro tagged

Facilities: Anglers have the benefit of a large car park, flushing toilet facilities and easy access to the fishing lakes.
