Description:

Moor Hall Pools are two scenic lakes set on a tranquil rural countryside farm in the quiet village of Ninfield. The pools have some great views that overlook surrounding countryside but are slightly spoilt by power pylons. The top pool is about an acre in size and the bottom is a slightly larger two acre lake. The pools between them hold tench to 5lb, roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz, perch to 3lb and some beautiful mirror and common carp to 15lb. Anglers often comment on the superb condition of the fish within the pools that have all been health checked. Moor Hall Pools offers day ticket fishing for the majority of the year except when observing its close season from 1st May to 15th June.

The bottom reservoir contains slightly more fish than the top reservoir. Pretty much any fishing technique you like to use will catch well on the bottom Clive Vale Reservoir. Favoured techniques include ledgering luncheon meat for a mixed bag of carp, bream and tench or float fishing maggots, sweetcorn, luncheon meat in the margins for carp, roach, rudd, gudgeon, eels and perch.
