Description:
Moor Hall Pools are two scenic lakes set on a tranquil rural countryside farm in the quiet village of Ninfield. The pools have some great views that overlook surrounding countryside but are slightly spoilt by power pylons. The top pool is about an acre in size and the bottom is a slightly larger two acre lake. The pools between them hold tench to 5lb, roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz, perch to 3lb and some beautiful mirror and common carp to 15lb. Anglers often comment on the superb condition of the fish within the pools that have all been health checked. Moor Hall Pools offers day ticket fishing for the majority of the year except when observing its close season from 1st May to 15th June. The top pool otherwise known as Moor Hall Pond is a small meandering shaped pond that is about 1 acre in size. The waters banks support quantities of reeds with about 15 flat, grass banked swims peering onto the pond. The pool has depths of upto 8-10 feet. Successful baits local anglers use include maggots and casters for the match fish and boilies for the larger carp. |
