Description:

Canal was built in 2007, is 15 metres wide and built with the pole angler in mind. It has 20 purpose built swims made from sleepers 8ft x 5ft. For ease, there is a built in pole roller for every peg.

The swims have an inside line and a far bank with a deeper area down the centre. The swims have rushes and lilies on the far bank and down the inside. The lake was stocked with the match angler in mind with various Carp and Tench to 1½ lbs with a few larger fish. The fish have been growing well. The average size now is 4½ lbs and the biggest is over 20 lbs.

The fishery supplies net on all of our lakes, they are slightly different on canal as the keep nets are longer and the landing nets are bigger.
