Specimen Lake 1

This is one of Tanyard Fisheries three specimen lakes. All have their own character Specimen 1 is ideal for stalking and close in feature fishing. The Carp run to 30lb+ and with some cracking fully scaled mirrors. There is a very good chance of a 20lb Carp here with a good head also ranging from 13lb to upper teens. This lake is also our Pike water with the biggest pushing 25lb and is great predator lake when their on the feed.

Rules: Tanyard Fisheries Rules

Entry to Tanyard Fisheries is conditional on acceptance of the rules governing the site. Anglers and guests failing to comply with Tanyard Fisheries rules may be asked to leave the site immediately.

Site Rules:

No dogs (even in cars)

No caravans

No fires

No ground level BBQs

No wading in any lakes for ANY reason

No refunds

Children must be supervised at all times

Anyone not adhering to these rules will cease session and told to leave immediately

No responsiblity will be accepted for any accident to person or property

No entry before 7am and after 7pm

Coarse Lake Rules:

Ticket holders only overnight

Strictly barbless hooks only

Landing nets compulsory

No leaving rods unattended

No rod sharing

No keep nets or sacking

All fish must be returned to the water ASAP - no standing with fish

No fixed leads

No nuts of any kind, No leadcore, No mainline braid

3 rods maximum per angler

Specimen Lake Rules

Large unhooking mat or cradle is compulsory

Ticket holders only overnight

Minimum 42" landing net

Minimum 15lb line

No wires or trebles for catfish semi barb hooks only for pike

3 rods maximum per angler

Pike fishing - dead bait, lures and spinners permitted only

No nuts of any kind, No leadcore, No mainline braid
