Description:
The tradition of coarse fishing on both top and bottom lakes at the Burton Constable Holiday Park was first established over 40 years ago. Mr Constable sourced good stocks of tench, perch, roach, pike and carp. The current stocks are healthy and fished responsibly by keen fishermen, some of whom have been here for many years and have great pride and skill in their sport. All fish are returned to the lakes in a healthy state. Fishing competitions are on the increase and young fishing enthusiasts are encouraged and helped by the more experienced. Night fishing has also become a popular past-time. The Park has strict but fair Fishing Rules, set by the Park and the fishermen themselves. The Rules are available at Reception along with tickets and passes. The Fishing Pegs are newly refurbished and reservations are essential.
