Description: Canal Pond Offering the pleasure and match angler yet another challenge, the 32 peg canal pond also boasts regular weights of around 80lb. This water often proves to be a favourite with locals, and can produce some excellent catch reports in the harshest of conditions. Set within a tranquil and scenic environment of around 50 acres, Westlands Angling strives to offer some of the best day ticket coarse fishing in the country. Each of the six lakes have been carefully designed to offer a different and yet enjoyable challenge for the pleasure, match and specimen angler. Little Tench Lake offers all the potential of Tench Lake but with a little more variety. Stockings include chub, barbel and carp up to 10lb. Match and pleasure weights have been known to regularly exceed 80lb with favoured baits being corn, maggot and pellet.
