Description:

This lake was the first dug at Fennes Fisheries over 27 years ago, originally stocked as a Trout lake. This all changed in 1993 when the Trout were removed and coarse fish were stocked.

This lake offers both open water and the opportunity to fish close to islands and features. Hobbs Croft covers 3.5 acres and has 20 pegs.

This lake has a larger grass area that makes it ideal for visting families wanting to experience fishing.

Summer parking is available in a designated area.

This lake holds the same species of fish as Ash Grounds, one of the largest Carp in this lake weighing in at 32.4lb.

This is a great lake for the angler starting out in carp fishing as the general stamp of fish are slightly smaller but still provide an excellent days fishing.

Features in this lake are easy to find with a marker rod and float set up.
