Description: Claydon Park Fishery

Situated in Gloucestershire in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park, a short distance from Lechlade-on-Thames, Claydon Park Fishery is over 45 years old. The lake is the oldest in the area and is also one of a kind being a 'wet dug' lake, meaning it has plenty of natural features and variation in depth due to the nature of its excavation.

Fishery Rules At Claydon Park Fishery, Claydon Pike

Please read the following rules:

All visitors whether fishing or not do so at their own risk, the Owners and Management accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, accident, or injury, howsoever caused to any person, property, or vehicles whilst at the Fishery.

A valid Rod Licence is required by anyone fishing and a maximum of 2 rods per person.

ALL fish are to be returned to the lake. Anyone found killing or removing fish will be prosecuted.

No keep nets allowed. All fish are to be returned to the water immediately.

No barbed hooks to be used and no unattended rods.

No bait boats allowed.

No boilies or live baits are to be used. No cat or dog food.

Please take all rubbish home, do not leave any rubbish on the bankside, anyone contravening this rule will not be welcomed back.

No dogs or pets allowed.

No under 12's allowed unless accompanied by an adult.

Fishing from sunrise to sunset only. No night fishing is permitted unless staying at at The Lodge.

Do not cut or otherwise damage bankside vegetation.

Any persons fishing without a valid ticket will be charged double or asked to leave.

The management retains the right to refuse entry and alter closing times without prior notice.

Anyone contravening these rules will be asked to leave and no refunds given.

Please fish safely and we hope you enjoy your time at our fishery.

Day Tickets - Fishing from Sunrise to Sunset.

Night Fishing and longer stays available for The Lodge bookings.

Day tickets avaiable to purchase on site.

Ample car parking.

Flushing toilet.

Please note there is no on-site shower or washing facility.
