Description: We consider ourselves very lucky to have a lake in such a perfect setting and our regular fishermen and visitors feel the same way. We are open all year round and we stock Triploid Rainbow and Blue Trout We also have a small head of Lake or Brown Trout which are to be returned otherwise it is a catch and kill lake only. Please note that we do not allow lures or spinning reels. We have a small lodge where fishermen can get some respite from the weather and ample lakeside parking. All fishing is from platforms on a day ticket basis please see our contact page for more details. For those of you who are new to the sport and would like some friendly guidance we do offer tuition. Rules: Monday to Sunday, 7am until the sun goes down. 2 Fish = £25. 4 Fish = £35. 6 Fish = £45. Lads and Dads: One adult with one junior under 13 years old on a four fish limit £40 A current Environment Agency rod Licence is required by law before fishing commences, these are available from any post office. Basic Rules: Fly only - No Lures - Barbless hooks only - No static fishing - Catch and release is not permitted - Fishing from platforms only - Return cards to be filled in after each visit. Tips: We recommend the use of small nymphs, Buzzers, Emergers or Spider patterns all of which are consistently effective as they match the naturally occurring fly life. All fish stocks come from Exmoor Fisheries Brompton Regis and are of the highest quality. Most importantly - Enjoy the day !

Facilities: All fishing is from platforms on a day ticket basis only. We have ample lake side car parking and a small lodge where fishermen can get some restpite from the weather. Accommodation is available at the local pub an Bed and Breakfast, which we can book on your behalf with prior notice.
