Description: The Main Lake houses the heavier fish with known carp up to 26lb. Depths average from 3 to 6 feet. This lake is also popular with our silverfish anglers.

Stocking Mirror carp up to 26lb, common carp up to 23lb, ghost carp up to 18lb, perch to 4lb and a good head of silvers

Rules:

Please Note: Our rules are split into two categories: Fishery Rules and Match Rules. If you are pleasure fishing you must abide by the Fishery Rules. If you are fishing a match you must abide by both Fishery Rules and Match Rules.



Fishery Rules:

1.Fishing 7am untill dusk.

2.No nuts, beans or catmeat.

3.Pellet fed by hand must be loose. Compressed pellet and groundbait must be fed by pole cup.

4.Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult

5.No keepnets to be used other than organised matches.

6.Fishing permits must be purchased prior to fishing. If money is collected on the bank you will be charged double.

7.No reserving pegs by leaving tackle in a swim. Any tackle found unattended will be removed by fishery staff after 30 mins.

8.Up to two rods may be used per person.

9.All feeders, leads and feeder floats must be free running.

10.BARBLESS HOOKS only, maximum size 8.

11.No braided line permitted.

12.Please do not damage trees or shrubs, treat other anglers with respect.

13.Anglers must be in possesion of a current E.A rod license.

14.Fishery pellet only.



Match Rules:

1.No pole cups may pass over the water before the start of a match.

2.No floating baits.

3.Three nets must be used on all matches; Fish approx 1lb and under in one net, larger fish to be split between the remaining two.

4.All nets must be laid out to dry and not go in the water until 15 minutes before the start of the match.

5.One rod per person.

The fishery reserves the right to add or amend these rules without prior notice, close any of the lakes without prior notice and cancel, postpone or combine matches without prior notice.

Any problems regarding the fish or fishery are to be reported to the fishery staff. The fishery will not accept liability for injury, loss or damage of persons or property. Please remove all litter and use the bins that are provided around the lakes or at the shop.
