| Description: Rockbourne Trout Fishery is located in the New Forest just on the edge of the picturesque village of Rockbourne. The six lakes are spread over 55 acres of unspoilt woodland and pasture land with the river Sweatford Waters running through the valley and on into the Avon. The lower reaches of the river are classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty and indeed Rockbourne is one of the most peaceful, secluded and beautiful spots to fly fish in the country.

Rules: Dark Line Rockbourne Trout Fishery Rules 01. No catch and release under any circumstances. 02. No Dogs, no radios, no litter. 03. Children on the premises are to be accompanied by an adult at all times. 04. The fishery is open at 8.30am, closing time is seasonal, please check the board. 05. On reaching your limit you must stop fishing, but you may purchase additional tickets. 06. All fish caught must be weighed and recorded on the return ticket provided (including nil returns). 07. No wading or swimming. 08. Fly fishers may be accompanied by one non fishing guest only. 09. All fishers must have a landing net and priest. 10. By paying for a ticket, you undertake to accept and abide by the fishery rules, if you break these rules we regret that you will be asked to leave the premises without a refund. 11. The management take no responsibility for any circumstances affecting the premises that are beyond their control. 12. All visitors to Rockbourne Trout Fishery enter at their own risk. No Liability attaches to the Management for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property. 13. Fly fishers must have a correct and current fishing license on the day. 14. Minimum 6lb breaking strain leader. |
