Description: Andy and Carol welcome you to our day ticket coarse fishery. Watmore Farm is a friendly, family-run fishery which prides itself on the quality and condition of its fish in the lake and the clean and quiet surroundings in which it is set. Based in the beautiful rural village of Eversley Cross which is situated on the borders of Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, our 5 acre lake is easily accessed by the M3, M4 or A30. The lake has been open for fishing for some 14 years and has 45 purpose built pegs to fish with a surrounding path for ease of access.

The lake is well stocked with Mirror and Common Carp (up to 30lb), Rudd, Perch, Tench, Skimmers and Roach. The unusual part of our lake is the depth which drops from two feet, right down to nineteen feet. This volume of water means it has a more stable water temperature enabling constant feeding of the fish, in contrast to the fluctuating changes of shallow lakes during cold snaps when the fish go straight off the feed. There is ample car parking (off Halls Lane), plus toilet facilities on site and we welcome you to set up on your choice of peg and pay the bailiff when in attendance.

Rules:

We will be opening the fishery on Monday 18th May from 7am to 7pm for pleasure fishing. To ensure we meet the government guidelines we will initially have the following restrictions in place:

1. One angler per swim.

2. No children aged 16 or under.

3. No non-fishing visitors.

4. No matches.

The swims are available on a first come first pick basis and once full the gate will be closed, if you wish to call/message ahead to save a wasted journey please do so on 01252 876323 or messenger.

Please note the following:

01. Please make sure you know our fishery rules they are printed on the back of your fishing ticket.

02. Please bring the exact cash payment for your day ticket - we will come to you on the bank.

03. Ensure the 2m distance rule is adhered to at all times while on the fishery, including the car park and around the lake.

04. All rubbish must be taken home including broken tackle items.

05. The toilet is the most likely area that you are going to pick up this virus so where you can please use your toilet at home, this is by far the safer option - if you need to use the toilet it is preferable for you to use a mask and gloves to protect yourself, other users and those that clean it! Please leave the toilet clean, flush the toilet and WASH YOUR HANDS.

We understand that some of these new rules and restrictions may not please everyone but these are not normal times, we want to make your visit to us is safe and enjoyable. We will continually review how we can improve and if we are able adjust our initial restrictions whilst following the government guidelines we will let you know. We want to look after our sport, ourselves and each other so please respect the above or you will be asked to leave with no refund.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our fishery and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions? Regards Andy and Carol.
