Description: Biddlestone Pool was Built in 1977 primarily as a Irrigation pool, but was then turned into a fishery in the Mid 80's and it has it now matured into a great fishing venue. The lake is between 1.5 and 2 Acres with depths of between 5 ft and 18ft in the winter months and 2ft and 12 ft in the height of the summer.

It is the responsibility of anglers to be aware of the lake rules before fishing. The rules exist to help protect the fish stocks and ensure the enjoyment of the lake to all anglers.

Rules Are as Follows:

Fishing From 7am Till Dusk.

( Day Tickets Available on the Bank, No Pre-booking Required).

All Anglers Must Have Access to an Unhooking Mat.

2 Rods Per Angler.

Under 16's Must Be Accompanied by an Adult.

Barbless Hooks Only.

No Main Line or Hook Links With Less Than 6lb Breaking Strain.

No Keepnets.

No Groundbait Mixes or Crumb Mixes.

No Mixed Particles Such as Pigeon Food.

Meat Can Be Used as Hook Bait Only.

Vehicles to Be Kept in Car Park at All.

Times. (With the Exception of Disabled.

Anglers With Prior Authorisation).

Please Stay in Pegs.

Only Suitable Tackle to Be Used.

No Rods to Be Left Unattended.

No Swimming.

No Dogs Allowed Around the Fishery at Any Time.

Warning Overhead Power Cables (No Fishing Between the Signed Exclusion Zones, Anyone Caught Fishing in This Area With Be Banned With Immediate Effect).

The Management Will Not Be Held Responsible For Loss of Tackle, Personal Injury or Damage to Cars and Reserve the Right to Amend the Rules at Any Given Time.

Night Fishing.

Night Fishing by Appointment Only.

Night Fishing Permit Is 24 Hours.

No Open Fires.

No Radios to Be Played When Fishing.

Anyone Caught Night Fishing Without Prior Authorisation Will Be Asked to Leave.

Suitable Tents Must Be Used , No Make Shift Bivvy's.

Anglers Must Be Set Up by Dusk on the Evening of the Session.

Anglers Are Limited to 1 Non Fishing Guest.

Please Be Sympathetic to Other Anglers and Local Residents When Setting Up Bite Alarms During the Night, Please Use Sensible Volume Levels.
