Description: Abbotts Lake is one of the premier big fish waters in the Lea Valley and offers superb angling in a friendly environment for big carp as well as for specimen tench and bream.
Carping at Abbotts continues to thrive and this mature 30 acre lake now holds some 100 fish over 20lb with from between 12 to 20 over 30lb depending upon the time of year. The carp in the fishery continue to grow and the largest, Maylins has reached a top weight of 41lb 15oz. The tench and bream both run to double figures and the potential for both species is huge for the angler prepared to set out his stall for them. Good numbers of all of the other usual lake species are also present
