Site Rules:



1. Your rod licence and permit are to be carried at all times.

2. Rods allowed:

a. 2 rods from 1st April until 31st March

b. 3 rods from 1st November until 31st March

3. No damage to swims or bankside vegetation.

4. Carp care kits must be carried at all times.

5. Minimum 42" landing nets are required.

6. Large unhooking mats/cradles.

7. Slings large enough for 40lb+ carp.

8. All nets/slings/mats/cradles to be dipped prior to fishing.

9. Retention of fish after catching up to 1 hour (this allows for the recovery of the fish and preparation of your camera). No waiting for daylight.

10. Ensure the fish is held no higher than 20 inches and that they are held over the mat/cradle.

11. No sacking of fish.

12. No unattended rods. Visits to other swims to socialise is acceptable (no more than 3 swims along). If further the rods must be reeled in.

13. Whilst fishing, you can leave the venue for up to 90 minutes so long as your rods are reeledin.

14. Minimum 15lb line and no barbless hooks.

15. No leadcore.

16. Leadless leaders/safe zones are allowed.

17. No braid mainlines or leaders (unless on spod and marker rods).

18. No nuts (including peanuts/brazil/tiger etc).

19. Seeds and pulses must be prepared properly.

20. If arriving to the venue when dark, please use your dipped beams and drive slowly and carefully.

21. All captures to be photographed both sides, weighed and sent to Jim.

22. Do not leave litter in swims, if you find litter prior to your fish, please pick it up and notify a bailiff.

23. Bait boats will be allowed from December 1st - March 1st. Maximum of 2 rods when using bait boats.

24. No baiting boats into snaps, please use your common sense. Failure to do so may result in loss of ticket.

25. If a fish becomes snagged and a boat is needed please contact one of the bailiffs. If they are unavailable, do not go out alone, someone else needs to be present. This is the only time boats are to be used (unless looking around the lakes, so long as no rods are in the water).

26. When using a boat life jackets must be worn and you must have your own oars. Boats are not used for baiting up or putting riggs in the water.
