Description: This spot is a mature four-acre lake that once held a somewhat legendary reputation, but the Societys reopening of the gates has renewed interest. Catches have since been prolific and enjoyment at Pixies Mere is back on the charts again, a welcome sight indeed. There are lots of features on the lakes and plenty of creative spots from which to fish, with fluctuating depths of three to four feet leading to a deeper six-to-10 foot hole around the latter pegs. Features include islands, overhanging willows, lily pads, and more. The stock of Pixies Mere includes pike, mirror and common carp, ghosties, carp, roach, perch, bream, and tench.
