Description: Meadow Lakes is a purpose built angling complex. We are 1 mile off the southwest coast of the Isle of Wight and are located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the villages of Shorwell and Brighstone. We have owned and run the business since 1984 and can offer fishing on four adjacent waters. The main lake is 1 acre and dedicated to fly fishing for Rainbow Trout. We allow catch and release but encourage anglers to take their catch by offering a reduced ticket price with the fish charged for by their weight. The second lake is 0.75 acre with an island of willow trees and offers very good Carp fishing. Our 2017 best weights were 25 lbs Mirror Carp and 27.5 lbs Common Carp with double figure fish caught most days. We also have 2 smaller ponds stocked with mixed coarse fish, ideal for the younger angler or those just wanting more activity. We are open from 08.00 to 20.00 April to the end of September. Closed Saturdays except for coarse fishing by arrangement. Winter fishing (October to March) by arrangement.

Facilities: Our Shop is open 09:00 to 18:00 April to the end of September except on Saturdays when it is closed. We can supply rods, nets, rests, tackle and chairs for hire, bait and small tackle for sale, catering for both trout and coarse fishing. Refreshments are available including hot and cold drinks, snacks with sandwiches and bacon baguettes made to order. We have an outside covered area with picnic benches and toilet facilities are provided.
