Description: Nickolls Leisure is a 55 acre ex gravel pit fishery and sailing water, which is open to day ticket anglers and memberships. There are around 20 swims for the day ticket angler and members, and a further 8 swims for the members anglers which day ticket anglers cannot fish.

It's taken around 5-6 years for the fishery to rebuild after it lost around 90% of it's fish stock due to an algae bloom which suffocated the water of oxygen.

The fishery has been restocked with a good head of 20 and 30lb carp and there are 2 known 40lb carp swimming around for the serious carp angler.

There are some enormous eels residing in the depths of this lake and boast some big fish weighing on average 5,6,7 and even 8lb's in weight.

There is a small island at one end of the lake and lots of different features under the water, but it's biggest feature as of all lakes are the margins, these have produced some good fish over the years and continue to do so with the new stock. So do not ignore.
