Description: The fishery spans 16.5 acres and boasts crystal clear water with spectacular views of the surrounding moorland. The reservoir has a healthy supply of Brownies and has been stocked to provide optimal trout fishing. The area even boasts a head of blue trout, which are known to fight harder and produce more rapid takes than the standard Rainbow. Rainbow trout averaging 20 lbs are frequently caught as well as Brownies coming in at up to 2 lbs. The bank with a slight slope next to the entrance of the damn is a prime spot that provides a firm footing. Anglers have reported that using specialist flies and buzzers in this location result in successive plucks and takes.
