Description: We have 3 lakes on site: A Coarse Lake with 28 pegs, plus one disabled peg. We have a Beginners Coarse Lake, and a Specimen Lake.

Oak Royal Fishery

LAKE'S RULES AND REGULATIONS

01. The following rules and regulations are present to ensure all visitors at The Oak Royal Golf Club and Fishery have a safe and pleasant stay. Any persons found not complying with any of the above regulations will immediately be asked to leave.

02. With any booking you agree to abide by all the fishery terms and conditions.

03. You understand that you may be asked to reel in your rods for inspection at any time and that your vehicle may also be inspected by any member of the Oak Royal Management.

04. We are open for fishing all year excluding Christmas day and Boxing Day.

05. Strictly Microbarbed/barbed hooks only.

06. Doubling up on swims is not allowed.

07. you must be over the age 18 for night fishing

08. Under 16s must be accompanied by an experienced angler over the age of 21yrs.

09. Under no circumstances are fish to be transferred between lakes. Anyone found to be moving fish will be banned for life without refund.

10. Only fishing bivvy's are acceptable, no Tents of any kind.

11. Fishing from vehicles is strictly prohibited

12. All Anglers must sign in on arrival at reception and fish at their own ris.

13. Strictly no nuts, meat or imitation baits

14. Only pellets purchased on the fishery can be used

15. In the event of line breakage, the lead must be able to free itself from the rest of the terminal tackle to prevent any tethered fish.

16. Swimming and tree climbing are strictly forbidden.

17. No leaders of any kind to be used, this includes Korda safety zone leaders.

18. No braided mainline, braid can be used on marker rods and spod rods only.

19. Spomb floats must be used at all times to detect any break offs so they can be retrieved by the fishery management only.

20. Main line must be a minimum of 15 lb. breaking strain.

21. All anglers must observe a maximum 2 rod limit (3 rods may be authorised by the Oak Royal management at the quieter times.

22. No rods to be left unattended at any time.

23. Anglers must hold the appropriate EA licenses.

24. No bait boats allowed.

25.All fish must be returned to the water as quickly as possible after being caught.

26. All anglers must be in possession of their own landing nets (minimum 42 inch), unhooking mats and weigh slings.

27. No sacking of fish under any circumstances.

28. Anglers must remember to disinfect their Landing nets, slings and cradles prior to fishing for a minimum of 5 minutes.

29. All visitors (Including season ticket visitors) must report into reception prior to fishing. Visitors must park in designated carparks at their own risk.

30. Vehicles must not be parked alongside or at the back of the swims.

31. Anglers must behave responsibly with regards to the intake of alcohol when fishing on the lakes. We uphold a ZERO TOLERANCE TO DRUGS policy.

32. Access to the Lakes with vehicles is via main entrance. All vehicles must abide by the 10 mph speed limit,Under no circumstances should vehicles be driven around the lake or on any grassed areas.

33. There will be strictly no admittance after dark.

34. No fires, BBQ's or loud CD players allowed.

35. All litter, including discarded lines, hooks and baits must be taken when leaving the Fishery or placed in the bins provided.

36. No weapons of any kind may be taken onto the Fishery.

37. If you have a fishing dispute with any other angler which cannot be reasonably settled, please speak to the Oak Royal Management team.
