Description: This is a day ticket water which with an annual greenhill angling Club Membership you can fish for free all you have to do is show your membership book on arrival.

This venue holds a good head of Carp and Silver fish, and has 2 canal stretches Which join up at the far end of the Venue and you can only fish from the middle of the 2 stretches.

Club Rules:

Organisation

1.1 the club shall be called the 'greenhill angling club' and the h.Q. Shall be the elephant amd castle, Thurlaston.

1.2 (a) trustees of the club shall be Bob kilby and bill hallett, subsequent Appointment of trustees shall be by the Committee. (b) trustees shall hold Office until death, resignation, or Until removed from office by the Committee. (c) the trustees shall be Indemnified out of the assets of the Club against any risk and expense Incurred by them in pursuance of their Office.

1.3 the club shall consist of adult, Junior (8 - 18) and oap members. The Total membership of the club shall be of Such numbers as determined by the Committee.

1.4 the committee shall have the power To elect temporary members on such terms As they determine.

1.5 the management of the club shall be Vested in a committee, consisting of: Chairman, vice chairman, secretary, Asst. Secretary, treasurer, membership Secretary, match secretary and committee Members.

1.6 the chairman shall preside at all Meetings of the club. The secretary Shall keep the books and generally Conduct the business of the club. The Treasurer shall receive all monies and Any surplus to be deposited at the bank Or building society in the names of the Chairman, secretary and treasurer. The Financial year shall run from 1st april To 31st march.

1.7 the annual general meeting (a.G.M.) Shall be held on a date to be agreed by The committee, where the financial Statement and a general report of Business of the past year shall be Presented.

1.8 the committee shall have the power To acquire waters for fishing, and to Stock/destock club waters as necessary.

1.9 the club will not be responsible for Any injury, accidental or otherwise Incurred by a member while fishing club Waters, neither shall the club be Responsible for loss or damage of any Member's property while fishing club Waters.

1.10 all juniors under the age of Sixteen must be accompanied and Supervised by an adult at all times Whilst on club waters.

1.11 no child under the age of 8 allowed On club waters.

Membership:

2.1 applications for membership shall be Sent in writing to the membership Secretary, enclosing a s.A.E. The Application must be supported by an Existing member. Admission to ordinary Membership shall be by election of the Committee, who may refuse any Application without stating a reason.

2.2 any member who has not paid his Subscription by the 31st may shall be Considered to have left the club. A Renewal form is included at the back of This book.

2.3 all members must notify the Membership secretary of any change of Address or phone number.

2.4 any member who has mislaid his Membership card or vehicle Identification card must report the loss To the membership secretary - a Duplicate will be issued.

2.5 the committee reserves the right at Its absolute discretion to withdraw, Refuse or renew a membership with no Obligation of reply, if the committee Are unanimous in its agreement.



General:

3.1 environment agency fishing Regulations are to be complied with by All members.

3.2 members shall fish using only one Rod/pole, line and hook unless otherwise Stated under individual water rules.

3.3 all members must carry their Membership book at all times on club Waters and display their vehicle Identification card when on the Appropriate waters.

3.4 every member is deemed a bailiff and Urged to exercise powers in requesting Other angler's authority to fish.

3.5 all matches fished to national Federation anglers (nfa) rules unless Otherwise stated.

3.6 all fishing to cease on a match Water one hour prior to the match draw.

3.7 no night fishing allowed on club Waters. You are allowed to fish from one Hour before sunrise to one hour after Sunset - unless otherwise stated - see Notes on individual waters inside.

3.8 the closed season at thurlaston and Ashpole spinney is jan 1st to feb 14th Inclusive.

3.9 all members will avoid damage to Property and leave no litter or nylon Line behind. Remember take all litter Home, even if it is not yours, and Please report any litter abuse to any Committee member.

3.10 please report any lost tackle, Whether it be terminal tackle or general Kit - so that the committee can retrieve It if lost on bank side vegetation or Inform you of any person finding mislaid



Equipment.

3.11 no dogs allowed; no guns allowed; No fires, tents, camping or swimming Allowed; no digging for bait allowed - On any club water.

3.12 all tins & glass objects of any Kind are banned on all club waters.

3.13 no milk or cream to be used on any Club waters.

3.14 members witnessing a breach of the Club rules to report same to the Committee in writing.

3.15 dry nets only to used on gac Waters.

3.16 no fixed rigs to be used, only Safety semi fixed or in line Bombs/feeders.

3.17 radio, mp3 players, ipods etc can Be used with headphones only.

3.18 any member wishing to change the Above rules should submit written Proposals to the secretary at least 14 Days prior to the a.G.M.
