| Description: A commercial that is packed full of fish Lake View Fishery is located in the Vale of Belvoir, close to the edge of the Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire borders. The venue offers a choice of 10 lakes which are all commercial style/match tactics type of affairs. If you are into commercials then you will love it and have the day of your life if you prefer fishing a more traditional or larger expanses of water then you might not enjoy Lake View as much. Either way, whatever your thoughts on commercial venues, you should get to catch a lot of fish so long as you adjust your approach depending on the weather.
River Lake Book now on Catch to fish from the 6th October onwards Complete with no less than 20 pegs set around the 0.5 acre venue, River boasts an average depth of 5ft.Stocked with predominantly F1's together with some larger carp, this is a fantastic venue for traditional coarse fishing tactics and anglers wanting to perfect their pole fishing skills.Pellets and maggots are the main baits to catch fish on river but some have recorded over 200lb on casters shallow against the far bank vegetation. |

Rules and Restrictions: Lake view pellets must be used (available at the tackle shop). 1 kilo worms. 5 pints of live bait. 1 kilo ground bait. 2 kilos of pellet max. No luncheon meat to be used. No types of meat based pet foods. No floating bread, or any other floating baits. No boilies or nuts on match lakes. Ground bait allowed - Cup and Feeder (1kg max). No floating pole. Maximum pole length of 16 metres. No feeders on match lakes. Barbless hooks only. Maximum hook size 12 coarse hooks. No braided hook lengths. Fishing from platforms only. No free line, a float must be used. No bloodworm or joker. No feed pots to be used before the start of the match. No fish over 5lb in weight to be kept in keep net when pleasure fishing. No fish to be swung in, fish to be netted. In all matches 2 nets to be used, and split evenly. No bait to be ejected into the lake after a match.
