Description: The Specimen Lake was dug in 2010 and is now starting to mature nicely in to a picturesque lake with lots of features and sun traps. The large open lake incorporates five bays and two islands with picturesque views across the water and surrounding landscape.

Specimen Lake Rules:

Tackle:

Micro barbed hooks max size 4 (NO Barbless)

3 rod limit

No braided mainline, braided hook lengths allowed

Minimum 10lb mainline

Minimum 2lb test curve rod

No fixed leads must be able to break free with minimum amount of force

Rig tubing to be used - no bare line after lead

Baitboats to be used sensibly, keep within your zone!

No glue to be used

Bait:

No nuts of any kind!

No particles (including sweet corn and maze)

No surface fishing

Maggots from the start of November to the end of March only

No shelf life boilies (apart form on the rig)

General:

No retaining of fish - all fish to be returned to the lake

No littering

No swimming or wading

Children under 16 to be accompanied by and adult

All bbq's must be off the ground, no fires

No drugs, alcohol in moderation

Only one non-fishing guest per angler

No tents allowed

Carp care kit or similar must be used at all times

No unattended rods

Keep all damaged or sick fish and report to manager or bailiff

No looking around without permission
