Description: Arthurs Pool Specimen Fishing A dedicated specimen carp lake with a difference, set up by a carp angler for carp anglers. The pool is 2 acres in size and boasts many water craft features such as gravel bars, drop offs, plateaus and lilly beds. We've introduced a lot of natural food into the lake, including fresh shrimp and mussels.

Lake Rules:

For the betterment of the environment and the fish stocks. Please comply with the following regulations.

No sacking fish.

All rigs will be checked before fishing.

Barbless hooks only.

No braided main line unless protected or covered.

Large unhooking mats must be used at all times (Supplied by Fishery).

Any fish above 35lb must be photographed in water.

No nuts are allowed.

No fixed rigs.

All litter to be removed from premises.

2 Rod limit.

Bait boats allowed to be used in your own swim only.

Minimum test curve of rod 2.5.

All anglers must fish from platforms only.

Anglers 13 and under accompanied with an adult at all times and sign a Child Safety Disclaimer on arrival.

All visitors must report to reception before fishing.

No rods must be left unattended if line is in water.

Dogs allowed on lead at all times.

Car parks will be locked from dusk until dawn.

You must only use Fishery landing nets, unhooking mats and weigh slings.

Please be considerate when using bite alarms, keep volume to a minimum.

Visitors are not permitted during gate closing times.

The use of barbecues is permitted but must be raised off the ground.

All fish must be handled with care and returned to the water as soon as possible.

NO LEAD CORE.

Use toilets provided at all times.

1 pint of maggots per 24 hours per angler.

1kg winter bait limit from October to April.

Fishery pellets only.

Please be aware that your booking will not be secure unless a 50% deposit has been paid. Remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made with less than 6 weeks notice are to be paid in full on booking. If you are unfortunate enough to have to cancel your booking, up to 6 weeks prior to arrival date a refund will only be given if we can re-sell your slot. Anything less than 6 weeks' notice, no refund will given.
