Description: The fishing lakes are approx 200 metres from the caravan site.

There are two lakes, the smaller one is currently a stock lake, with the large lake boasting carp, perch, tench, bream, roach and rudd.

There is an abundance of wildlife including barn owls, woodpeckers and many species of garden birds. Look out for the kingfisher early in the morning.

Rod Licences apply (remember two rods only per licence)

No barbed hooks

No ground bait or boilies

No pre-baiting of swims

No keep nets

Please use a mat when landing large fish

Where pegs are high, please use the landing net to replace fish in pond

Pegs taken on a daily first come basis i.e. no reserving of pegs permitted

Rods must be removed from the water, when leaving a peg

Do not empty unused bait into the lake or on the bank

No night fishing

Please consider other visitors to avoid disturbance with early starts

Day fishing visitor times: 07.30 to dusk.

There is a bait fridge in the barn. Bait must not be stored in the cottage fridges.
