Description: In CEMEX Anglings portfolio now for just over 3 years the restocking of Hykeham Pit is coming to fruition. Having been stocked with approximately 300 X 4.lb to 5.lb+ carp & with the available space to grow this large expanse of water is now throwing up double figure fish. With bream well into double figures & the original carp having now grown on to 30.lbs+. This venue is going from strength to strength. Pike fishing is again superb with 20.lbs+ fish being caught during the colder months. Roach fishing at this venue is now starting to come into its own with more & more anglers fishing for silver fish exclusively at this venue. The carp fishing is going from strength to strength with the fish growing & with the look of the fish we can see this lake being a much sought after venue in the future. Bags of specimen roach to 2.5lb+ & bream to double figures have come to those fishing on the tip over large beds of maggots & groundbait. Once you can get them going the action can be frantic. Hykeham never ceases to throw up a surprise fish & no doubt in the future it will continue to do so.
