Description: The fishery opened in 2008 and now has two well established coarse fishing lakes.
The Main Lake is a circular design with a central Island and is well stocked with various species of Carp. It has 26 pegs and is ideal for club matches.
The Snake Lake is an 18 peg canal stye fishery that holds a variety of silver fish including Roach, Bream, Chub, Ide, Barbel and Tench. It is an excellent year round venue suitable for both small club matches and pleasure anglers.

Lake Rules:
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an Adult. Dogs are allowed providing they are controlled on a lead. No keepnets for pleasure fishing. All nets must be dipped in onsite bins before commencing fishing. No fish to be handled in rags. Please take all litter and excess bait home. Bait and Tackle Rules: All loose fed pellets to be purchased on site. Banned baits - All meat baits, boilies, hempseed, bloodworm and joker. Barbless hooks only. Max size 12. Feeder and leger rigs must be free running and have a minimun 12" tail. Fixed method feeders or bolt rigs not allowed. Max.Pole length 14.5 metres. No floating poles, tapping or splashing. No surface fishing. Min. 12" hook length when float fishing. Additional Rules for Match Fishing: Anglers should bring and use their own keepnets. Two keepnets required. Weight limit 55lbs per net. Small fish under 1lb in one net and larger fish in the other net. Additional nets are available on site if required. If spare pegs are available the angler can fish the water up to the next peg but not beyond it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Facilities:
Both lakes have good access and you can park behind your peg. Disabled anglers are also catered for with specially adapted pegs. |
